Sunny Deol made a comeback after 22 years at the theatres and broke all the records at the box office. The movie became the talk of the city and everyone was so excited to enjoy it. Gadar 2 has finally completed its 500 crores mark in its theatrical streaming. The movie was made on the theme of the India and Pakistan war which was too much loved when it was first released in 2001.

Now, Gadar 2 has been streaming for 4 weeks in the cinema and still making a huge amount of collection every day. The box office earnings have reduced the release of the grand film Jawan on 7 September 2023 but still, it is earning in crores each day.

The movie has crossed 500 crores in earnings in India on its 24th day at the box office. This is a huge achievement and it was possible because of the positive reviews and ratings from viewers and critics. The popular movie Adipurush became a big Flop because of the negative reviews but Gadar 2 connects with the emotions of Indians and that is why it was able to cross that huge collection.

The movie was made on a budget of 60 crores and it should have earned at least 100 crores to become a hit. But, it made around 512 crores till now and became one of the biggest blockbuster movies of Bollywood in 2023. Now, the film is still doing a good collection in the theatres even after the release of Shahrukh Khan’s grand film ‘Jawan’. It couldn’t compete with the Jawan movie but still, it is doing good.

Potential Lifetime Earnings

The movie is currently streaming in theatres and is making a good amount. Gadar 2 has made more than 500 crores amount till now in India because it was only available for Hindi audiences. Talking about its lifetime collection, the critics are expecting it to earn 525-540 crores at the box office in its theatrical running.

When Gadar 2 finishes its theatrical streaming, the movie will also break some records on the OTT platform and now the digital rights selling details will be out after some time. The makers have already announced the third part of Gadar which will come in 2025-2026 which is too early. And, the total earnings of that movie would be more than 1000 crores minimum because that would be based on the India and Pakistan war, not the love story that we saw in the last two parts.
